It is OK to use a smaller size in many
cases- but not a larger size. The garments
work better when snug
Note: We currently do not make K9
TOP COATs specifically for short legged
breeds such as Basset Hounds and Dachshunds.
However, we have had numerous customers
purchase and modify the garments to fit
their dogs.
This list of breeds is a general guide to
selecting the appropriate sized K9 TOP
COAT. We recommend you use this list
with the measurements table to get the most
appropriate sized garment for your dog.
Remember that a snug fit provides the best
garment fit. So, if you dogs measurements
are on the borderline of a size, go with the
smaller size. If you have any questions
